Default IF Touring pics

I finally got around to taking a couple of pics of our new IF Touring coupe. This past weekend I installed my Nismo catback and sway bars and mounted the LMGT4/Kumho's and I really like the way it turned out. The exhaust sounds perfect, the rims look nice and the sway bars really seem to have made a difference too. I have a question for other new owners... does (did) yours have a burning smell when you shut it off in a garage? I'm guessing it's normal to have some smell when you break in a new exhaust. It did it with the stock system when I drove it home and now it's doing it with the Nismo too. Pretty over powering when you open a door. Anything to be concerned about?

Yes, new exhausts usually smell that way at first. Nothing to be concerned about.

I have a question. Can you put the upgraded sway bars, shock and spring set on a GT? Will it interfere with the VDC System?

I hear you on the smell.

I bought a TUBI for my ///M5 and that STUNK for a month.

The Z is not as bad, but it was still a little on the nose the First time I pulled up in the garage.

I love the Nismo Stuff.

Just waiting for the $Tealers to sought out there pricing here.

How much louder are the Nismo cans?

What about Headers ?

I only went with the sways to start with as I want to live with it for a bit before I decide to drop it any with springs. I'm guessing I'll end up with the S-Tune before long though. I just don't want any trouble with tire rub when the car is fully loaded and hitting interstate dips at 80mph. After doing alot of message searching here I've no concerns with the VDC reacting badly with the S-Tune, sways or new rims/tires. I don't have enough miles on it right now to definitely say you wouldn't though. All I know is the system seems to be fine from what I've seen.

I've had many new cars over many years and I've never experienced an odor as strong as what I've been smelling when opening the door on this car Oh well, as long as it ends up going away we can live with it.

I got a good deal on my Nismo catback system from the dealer I bought the car at. $900 and I installed. Definitely not a loud system, at least under 3000rpm (haven't had it over 3k rpm yet), which is what I wanted. Louder than stock, but not by much. Not a hint of highway drone at 70mph either. Tone is deeper at these rpms it seems. I like it
