I've been lurking about for a while now - this is my first post. Anyway, last Saturday (April 29th), I bought an '06 Z Touring 6sp. I was interested in buying one for a while; what sealed the deal was when I rented one from Hertz at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It was awesome!! Som without much further ado, here she is :

Perfect color Black is the BOMB!! I just got mine also. Congrats!

 

Nice ride. I love the new headlights that don't have the yellow strip. The car would look even "cleaner" w/ the JDM clear corner markers IMO.

 

Congrats and nice Z. I really like those new headlights too and the new rims. Any plans to mod?

Do they make those clear corners for the 2006 yet? I read here that some one was having a hard time finding them.

 

HA!!HA!! Yeah, the other car (actually an Eagle Talon, same thing) is about 10 years old now. With about 148k miles on her, I figured it was time for something new. The 4th gen. Eclipse didn't fit all my 'rules' for my new car purchase (1. Must be RWD, 2. No more 4-cylinder engines, 3. Must be a move-up in performance, quality, and chick magnetism ). I'll still work-out the Talon every now and then so hopefully she won't get too jealous

I bought it for about $30,500 not including tax, license, and the other legal stuff. Did it over the Internet after about 6 months of research...did a lot of homework before walking in the door!!

Congrats to you, too!! For me, It came down to Magnetic Black or Silverstone. Black won out because I never had a black car...plus, I like how the light bounces off of it! Some friends have said that it will be hard to keep clean. I figure since its not my daily commuter anyway, and I don't mind taking time to wash my car, it will be no problem...

Anway, I think I am going to start with lowering it and wheels. I like the Volk TE37's (the stock wheels look so good, though, they'll do - for now). After that, supercharger?? Good thing I just found out today I'm getting a raise...

JDM corner markers would be cool...I'll have to look for a set fer sure!!
