Exclamation New 350Z Prize

I should have posted something earlier on this...

My Oklahoma Z Car Club is hoping to give away a new 350Z at our Jackie Cooper Nissan Z Car Show this Saturday. It would be to the winner of a raffle sponsored by the Bixby, OK, Chamber of Commerce. They need to sell another 1,000 tickets RIGHT NOW in order to make the Z-car award financially viable. If they fail to sell the required number of tickets, the winner of the drawing on Friday will get 50 percent of the "pot." You don't have to be present to win.

PS: Winner has to pay the taxes on the new car (about $8,000)
PPS: Hope this post doesn't violate terms of the site

$25 per ticket and you have to pay the taxes if you win? Hmmm.

Exclamation Noon Deadline

Yeh...you can count on death and taxes no matter what.

Even so, $8,000 for a new $35,500 350Z is a deal any bank in the land would be eager to finance. You have until noon today (Friday, Sept. 22) to buy a ticket online. The drawing will be at 5:00 p.m.

When I checked yesterday, they were still short of the required number of tickets sold to award the 350Z, but maybe there will be a surge in sales before noon. If you don't want the Z car, you can opt for $22,000 in cash (still have to pay taxes). If they fail to sell enough tickets, the prize will be a 50/50 split of the "pot." And you would be paying taxes on that too.

The Tax Man will not be denied.

I'd take the cash, pay off my z, and buy a 300zx project car.
