Default Hey guys, what you think?

Hey guys-
Im coming from a k20a RSX to hopefully a 350z... could you all take a look at this 350z I might be getting... I think its the enthusiast model or touring from what Ive read... I can't really figure it out... it was the LSD and HID's and leather... and its 6MT...

I talked him down to $18,700...

Pretty nice and not to bad of a price either. Is that an 18 front 19 rear set up for the wheels?

To be honest Im not sure.... the one thing that worries me is that it was traded in with the rims and an intake...

Dont want to get a modded Z that someone beat the **** out of ...

Plus, how do Z's drive in the winter? :bites nails:

Not bad. Too many miles for me though if I was buying used. Looks to be in good shape. It appears to be a touring model (enthusiast does not have leather).

As for the winter, invest about $1000 in a winter wheel/tire package. That combined with a decent amount of common sense and you should be fine.

Winter's right around the corner. The miles are a little high. So you have the upper hand, offer them 17,700 for the car and point out that the chances of them selling a sports car around this time of year is slim to none. Good Luck!

Go on cars.com and print out a couple of other Z's for sale, you don't really have to like them, they are just for show anyway. Next, go to the dealership that has the one your looking at. Tell the person your dealing with that you do not have time to bs around because you have (5) other Z's to look at today ( have the print outs of the other Z's in hand). Ask how long the car has been on their lot? Point out that not many people are going to come to a Dodge dealership to look for a Nissan and just start nitpicking the car (even stuff you like). After doing this, simply tell him that you are willing to go 17,700 tops!

I did this with my 03. It was in late 04 and it only had 13k miles. They were asking 28k and I got them down to a little under 23k. Just remember, don't be afraid to walk away if your not happy.

56,000 miles. 4,000 miles short on the power train warranty. Pass on this one.
