I just purchased a 04 Z-Touring edition and love the car. The interior is white/grey leather and it is a really nice contrast with the black dash. The handling of the car is unmatched and I am love the positive attention I have gotten from the car. The first mod I made to the car was installing a JWT pop-charger as they seem to be very popular on the forum. However, after having it installed my "service engine" light came on and the car has not been running as smooth since. The car seems to not be idling as smooth at stops and sometimes feels like it is hesitating.

I had the code read and they said it is a possible 02 sensor issue but it may correct itself. A couple of hrs after clearing the code, the light came back on. I am thinking of placing the factory intake & filter back on the car unless anyone else has incurred this problem and knows how to fix it.

Any suggestions?

I think it may be the sensor, did you remove the sensor when removing the factory system?

 

It actually was the MAF sensor which some how had a particle in it which was causing it to act up. I removed the particle and the car is running like a champ.
