Default New owner...07 SMB Touring

How's it going everyone? This past weekend I purchased my first Z, this is also my first post. I've done a lot of reading and searching around the forum lately, trying to learn as much as I can. My dad is going to pick the car up on thursday since I'm away at school right now. These weeks are gonna feel like years until I can get home and drive it. Sorry for not having any pictures yet, but I'll make sure I post a few when I get home. Anyway, it's an 07 San Marino Blue, Touring, 6 speed, with white frost interior.

By the way, I'm 19 and from Long Island, NY. I consider myself a n00b and I know I got a lot to learn. I'll be looking forward to continue reading the forum and getting to know some of you guys.

Welcome aboard. You mean your dad purchased the car for you. Good luck with school, and make sure you treat the car well when you get it.

I get that a lot actually. I didn't pay 100% of the price, but most of it. I figured it would have been a waste of time to go into detail about who paid how much and stuff.

We've seen a lot of crashed Zs on here driven by young guys.

Be sure your brain controls your right foot; not the other way around!

No tickets yet, no accidents yet. But then again, I've never driven anything like a Z before
I'll definitely be careful though.

I'll post pics as soon as i get a chance.
