I haven't read this thread in ages. I've come a long way since this thread. Shortly after getting this car my mom traded it in on an 07 roadster and they helped me buy a 89 240sx. After that throughout the course of 3 1/2 years of owning my 240 and buying and flipping other 240s to make extra money I modded that car like crazy. I put an rb25 in it full suspension and type x Aero blah blah blah. It made 411whp/312tq and I drove it for about a year with the rb until trading for an ls1 fc rx7. The ls1 made 387whp on a mustang dyno and 363tq. The rx7 wasn't really my thing and I retraded it after 8 months of owning it. I traded it for a 69 datsun 510 and a 2003 yamaha yzf-r1... oh what a trade that was...

The 1st week of owning the r1 it tried to commit suicide cause the dumbass owner before me put leds all throughout the bike and I turned them on one day to see what they looked like and of course they shorted out and the wires went up in smoke. Luckily I killed power to the battery quick enough to avoid it smoking up the main harness then I ripped all the wires out quick. Since then the bike has been a great bike. No problems with it.

Now to the fun part... after 2 weeks of driving the susposedly rebuilt l20b swapped 510 I was driving home from work and the engine blows. So then I was out of a car for about a month until I rebuilt it myself with all new Nissan parts. I also bought a ported race head and dual SSS carbs and installed them. That little car was quick. It had flat top pistons and a closed chamber head so compression was at about 15:1. For it to even run on 93 octane I had to retard the timing 15 degrees. If I would have advanced the timing and added race gas I have no doubt it would have been a 170hp l20b..

I later put that car up for sale for 8 grand for ***** and giggles then got a trade offer from a guy in Texas. That i later traded for on a beautifuly done s13 with basic Bolton's sr, legit parts all over it: 2000 dollar gp sports body kit 3600 dollar bbs wheels 2000 dollar gp sports coilovers leather interior silvia front cusco LSD perfect paint and body you know the works. I literally had that car for a month before putting it up for trade. So now there it was December 2011 and I had owned 4 badass cars in the course of 1 year.

I know you're probably wondering when my story is going to be over but here just last week somebody came and bought my s13. Even though I really wanted to trade he gave me an offer I couldn't refuse.. I sold that car FOR 11000 DOLLARS cash.. An UNHEARD of price on a 240sx. And just the other day I went out and bought another 350 but this time its a 6MT and already slightly modded. So I guess you could say I'm back where I started from but picked up a motorcycle along the way as well as a few mods and a manual transmission lol.
