Greetings!

At the risk of getting flamed for not creating a proper introduction thread, here you go The name's Rane, I come from the great land of Fairfield County, CT (some would argue the greatness of that land), and currently own an '06 Evo IX MR, but have always liked the Z.

I'm hoping a bit of surfing through this board will convince me to take the plunge and actually get one, but we'll see. I have no intention of selling my Evo, but there's no denying the Z is a damned sexy looking car.

That's all for now, think I'll peruse the boards and see what I can see.

Welcome Rane. It sounds like you have potential to have the best of both worlds, a practical car and a fun toy like the Z. Take a few for a test drive, that should convince you, or hang around here for a while and we'll convert you.

Thank ya! Out of all the boards I've visited this one seems to have the most information and an overall good vibe.

I do hope to plan a test drive after I've done a bit of research. My goals, should I get one, would be pretty humble; I just want to make sure I look around and know what's what.

Thanks again!

If you're going a pre-loved 350, definitely take a few for a test drive. Good luck and let us know how you go.

personally, if you want aggressive track, speed, and versatility, EVO>Z, but on the other hand, if you want sexy appeal, lower maintenance cost, or simply the thrill of driving a fun Jap sports car, Z is your car. That's just my 2 cents. btw, welcome to the forum =D

Thanks!

Ooh like I said, absolutely no plans to lose the Evo, love it way too much.

And to BRONZEE, yeah, definitely want to make sure it wasn't loved too much...

...perhaps I should rephrase that lol I want to make sure no one tore the hell out of it
