Hello everyone. I just found this site and signed up. I have liked the 350Z since it came out. I had been waiting for prices to get low enough to buy one, and that happend last spring. I bought a red 2003 Touring in March. I wanted black, but used Zs are few and far between on the lots in Fargo, ND. Last month, a black 2003 Performance model showed up at the local Nissan lot. It had the same mileage as my red Touring. I didn't care one way or the other about the leather heated seats and Bose stereo in the red one and the black one has a $1,700 Alpine stereo, so I went to the dealership and traded even for the Super Black Z. As part of the deal, they paid the license fees and I had them include a set of new Dunlop WinterSport M3 tires. I plan to drive the car all winter. When the snow is too deep I'll drive my '71 Chev pickup until the streets are plowed. Last year I drove a Porsche 944 all winter with Blizzaks and no problems. I love the black color of my new Z, plus it's lowered and has tinted windows and a charcoal interior, which I like much better than the gray leather in the red car. I have been restoring a 1958 DeSoto Firesweep two-door hardtop for the past two years and I am now at the point of putting everything back together. I have a 1965 Dodge Polara two-door hardtop that my folks bought new. I restored that a couple of years ago. My daily driver for the past 10 years before I got the Porsche last year was my 1971 Chev Super Cheyenne pickup. My wife drives a Trailblazer. I have had many old cars over the years and a few sports cars. In 1969 I bought a '59 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite. I have had a '76 MG Midget, an Opel GT, the Porsche 944 and now the two 350Zs. I love cars and my wife gave up on trying to stop my addiction many years ago.
