Hi everyone. Today I purchased a 07 San Marino Blue Z base. I must say I love this car, especially the color. I was a little skeptical about the car at first, but as soon as I drove it, I was sold.
Its raining here in San Diego so no pics today, but I think we all know what a Z looks like
Anyways, looks like you guys have a great forum here. I'll try to keep the noob questions to a minimum.

Welcome and congratz on the 07. Did you test drive a few before you purchased?

Lol, they do discounts on flame suits around here. Always read and search first, you'll be sweet.

Thanks. I only test drove the base. I was on a limited budget and didn't want to be tempted with the other models.

I still have my old flame suit from the GTO/LS2 forums. They can be pretty brutal, so I think I'll be ok here.

Welcome. You'll love the car. Many that buy the base put in an aftermarket LSD. Most also add their own sound systems too and the only thing you may miss with the base model is cruise control if you do a lot of highway driving, not creeping.

Great to see another SMB. Do you plan on modding anytime soon?

Thanks for the welcome. I don't plan to do much modding. Just exhaust, lowering and some nice wheels (I want CCW classics in the worst way). Maybe an after market stereo too, but I'm not sure. The car is my dd, so I'll probably leave it at that. Unless of course the mod bug gets me.
