Dear NoHyperbole: Spoilsport!--just kiddin'. But, you could've broken it to him
in a milder manner, guy. Considering miles/price, etc., he STILL closed a GOOD
deal, in my book. (How 'bout an '04 Touring Coupe, 13,201k on it, for $22,000??? Still with new-car scent! NO FEATHERING!).

mine was actually purchased from a mercedes dealer in california. with the 1k they refunded me i am completely satisfied with the deal i got. as far as carmax--i would never buy from them--haggling the price is half the fun of the "buying experience" and their no haggle price is too high imo.

My goal was to be comrehensive. After (almost) all was said and done, I dutifully declared TX-350Z-TX the rightful winner. He has in fact beaten the system. His purchase price has reset the definition of what a good deal is. Nobody will ever get a better deal than the one TX-350Z-TZ got. That's the truth of the matter.
