Pic first of course. Car will be here next Wed. Looking forward to it. Stock and no plans to mod right now. I said that 2 yrs ago about my '67 Land Cruiser and $10k later... Things may change.

In Atlanta, have owned a bunch of cars, mostly into Cruisers and off-roading, but had an '86 911 for a while and loved the sports car life. Really looking forward to spring in the south and the top down!

Thanks and no worries... Not a chrome kind of guy. Spent a grand on an LC bumper with a chrome hoop... and threw the hoop away.

 

The Z is great off-the-road. Suspension is a little tight though, and clearance may cause a problem.

Thanks... I'll steer clear of pebbles in the Z. The LC is for fun at 2 mph on rocks. The Z for fun at 122 mph on pavement

My wife says I'm a crazy f'er. 2 LC's, just bought and sold a 911, and now a Z. I agree with her For an old bastid I feel like a kid on Z-mas.

Took it out at lunch today to play on some twisties in N. GA and had a blast. Very smooth torque through the rpms, very unlike the 911 where the torque was sluggish until you got to 4k, fun after that of course.

I'm gonna have a blast with this toy!

well atleast my 04 Z wasn't the only one with a color-mismatched bumper....

They're all like that. It's the paint reacting differently with the plastic on the bumper, sills, panel over the door, and say the aluminum bonnet, metal roof and doors, and back panels.
