Just got my car last week but didnt have time to take some pics of her. But here she is.. in process of changing the oil to Mobil1. Its an 06 Fire Metallic GT. I might get some new wheels soon since I dont like the stock one that much..











the only thing i dont like about this car is how much the BOSE system sucks!!!!!!!! First few mods was S2k antenna and limo tint.

what do u mean by one year color? I saw some pics of an 03 with the same exact color.. and your right, i havent seen anyone with this color in town.. most of them are silver.

Meaning that the 06 was the only year they produced the Interlagos fire Metallic. The color on the 03 is called Brickyard. Similar in color.

Any particular reason for switching to Mobil 1? Check out the VQ oil analysis thread. I used to be a Mobil 1 junky myself. Now its Castrol syntec "European formula".

 

30k.. What is the difference between Brickyard and IFM? Looking at the pics here and i cant tell the difference for the life of me

 

they had a special at Autzone for 5 qts + oil filter for $25.. Its either that or Royal Purple and those are really expensive.. Where do u find Castro Syntec European Formula at?

 

Cool, I lucked up and found mine back in June...only had like 1500 miles on it.

Its really hard to distinguish between Brickyard and Interlagos from pictures...probably could see more of the difference in person. I think most say the Brickyard is more brown....versus more purple on the Interlagos...I think thats what I heard someone state. I have only seen one other interlagos since buying mine and no brickyards as of yet.

 

to my suprise royal purple didnt do well at all on the oil analysis. Mobil one wasnt bad, just not great.

The only place I could find the European formula was at Autozone. Its a 0-30. Just look for "European Formula" on the front. They have that same deal at the Autozone in my area, it is a good deal, but I wanted the German Castrol and K&N oil filter. The cost is a lot more than 25$, but I can run it 5000 miles with less wear than most oils running it for 3k. Previously, I changed at 3k all the time. So I'm saving a little money on the back end.

right now im interested to trade my RAYS wheels for some black wheels. I think black wheels will go great with the car color. If anyone located in the Tri-state/Mid-Atlantic area want to trade, hit me up with a PM with pictures. I prefer the wheels included tires too to make the trade simple.
