those seats look horrible, I would get different "covers" first off, and cant that scuff on the fender be buffed out?

Have it gone over by a mechanic you pay & trust. If he gives you thumbs up, go for it.

Seems okay, except for the seats. I agree with the post above though, is it an individual selling?

My seat looked worse than that at 15,000 miles, so you're not in that bad of a position.

Well, my body guy will fix the fender for nothing. He also said he can get the factory leather seat covers for a very reasonable price.

Not sure how much Nissan charges, but he paid 260 for top and bottom of his leather drivers seat. I just need to put them on. Being a pretty accomplished mechanic, I dont think I will have a problem doing that.

An individual owns it, older gentleman. Bone stock.

Well if everything checks out as Rat has suggested, and the seats and the little scrape aren't an issue, sounds like it will be yours.

One thing with the paler coloured leathers they will require a bit more attention to keep them looking good.

I read that your body shop friend can fix those 2 minor problems, so, that's outta the way. See if the owner can go down a little on the price though. How does the engine look, and how was the test-drive? Condition of the tires, feathering?

sounds a little high for an 03 Z with that many miles loaded or not. 16k seems more like a reasonable offer at these times with the economy being **** people are struggling way more to sell cars so haggling them down is a lot easier.
