my new 08 350z - first impression, wow
Hi,
New to the forum. Just picked up my 350z yesterday. What a great driving car. It was a choice between an older porsche (993), a newer Z06, Z4 M coupe or this. I wanted a car to take out on the weekends and just boot around on some country roads. My requirements were a car that had great handling, two seats, decent power and good looks. After my cruise out for about 3 hours today I believe I couldn't have made a better choice. I wasn't thinking of buying an '08 but the price was right and the warranty did play a big part in my decision. This car has a near perfect drivers position, good brakes, fair linear acceleration and excellent feedback at various speeds.
Being here in Canada it will be sleeping for the winter. But until then I plan on getting out for a few hours every weekend till the snow flies. It's a San Marino blue Grand Touring coupe. Stock for now.
Thanks,
Brady

Given your choice, you made the right one, Congrats!!! After driving my 2 month old LS3 around a little bit (650 miles odometer), I love my Z even more. The Z car is just more practical and much more compact driving. The Chevy is too bulky and too hyper, it seems like it just want to go fast. The Vette's gas tank (size) is a joke, you wonder why these owners keep going to gas stations. The Z is really a driver's car in any speed.
