Default Dual Intakes?

i just purchased and 07 350z and it has the dual intakes. I heard there is some confusion on whether you can put dual cold air intakes or only short ram intakes on it. Can someone please give me some clarification on this topic? thanks in advance!

You can of course use either.

But the Injen dual intakes are the only ones to add a slight increase in power. The others just sound good.

depends on your goal, power or sound. for power, definitely go for the Injen CAIs. Check the VQ35HR subforum to see what others have done and dyno graphs from tunes. Seems like they get some pretty good high end power with the CAIs.

i know they intakes don't make a huge amount of power therefore my goal would probably just be something that sounds mean. Either way, i'm more concerned about fitment going with a dual CAI setup. As long as theres no problems doing so then i'm good to go.

I believe the only issue with the injen intakes is that the rubber coupler on the passenger side will rub a little.

oh ok. Does the injen go all the way down to the bumper area or just sits a little lower in the engine bay? i haven't actually seen any CAI's that go low into the bumper. thanks again for the info guys.
