Default Just picked up 05 Z - now noticing something off?

Hi all,

Just picked up a 05 auto and I notice that the front of my Z is lower than the back of the Z. Seems to be more space between the tire and the tire well in the back.

Is there something off about my z?

It's ok.. I'm use to being in forums. When I made this post I knew someone was going to ask for a picture.

I dont have the car with me right now, but if you all use your imagination my front of the car (looking at the car from the side) would be lower than the back of the car.

Some would even think that the front is lowered and the back was not. It's about a difference of 1 inch or maybe less.

Normal?

It's hard to tell from the tire being that dark and the back ground being dark as well, but if I'm imagining your front tire to be "x" big compared to the back, yes the back does look to have more space between the tire and the tire well.

BTW, niiiice!

Did you check if you have after market springs or coil overs?

When my brother comes back with my car I'll take a look, but I doubt it. Everything should be stock.

Does your car window drop down a bit when you open it and close up when you close the door? Mine does that and I dont get the point.

Hi my friend..

First of all, yes all 350z cars are alike.. Nissan engineers designed the front to be lower for handling purposes and dealing with turns on high speed.
2nd of all, windows are also naturally like that. Base on my sales person, so that the window wont get damaged when you close it. If you noticed, it slides down at opening the door then went closing it, slides up for secure air tight and also it has no glass frame.

Correct me guys if im wrong.

But Grats for a new car
