Default WRX to 350Z?

i own an 07 wrx. i love the power and the handling of it. but i also love that of a 350. my dad owns one and i love the way it feels. im thinking of trading for a 350. i know my wrx inside and out and i know what id need to do to get to my power goals. but what about a 350. ive priced exhaust and intake but what about getting tuned? i can just reflash my ECU through my computer and im done. i know its not as good as a pro tune but it works for my needs. so how much does a tune actually cost? or do i have to by engine management? do they take easy to engine mods or are they finicky? thanks in advance for your advice.

you can check out the Cobb Accessport and Technosquare reflash. depends on your engine though, DE or HR.

The HR came is for the 07-08 years the DE is for 03-06.The HR engine responds better to mods than the DE does plus it revs to 7500 stock. It all depends on what are your power goal and how much you can spend on a Z.

Why did you buy a WRX if you wanted a 350Z?

easy:
1. great looks
2. nice torque
3. Handling

bad:
1. people stare too much
2. they are becoming the "civic" of yesteryear
3. some would say it weighs too much

yea... DO NOT get cobb for z, unless it's a custom tune. z has no tubrbos, thus it's not easy to get power with just a tune.

fiy, a custom tune with 2 hours on a dyno got me 15whp ( uprev) ... and i am stocked about it.

so right now my N/A HR is making over 300whp - not much by boosted standards.
