Hey everyone!
I thought about PMing you as we rode through. I remember you saying you were nearby.
I should have planned this better, Militia and his lady are in Greenville.
You could always come up to Highlands and we could meet for some lunch and I could pwn you on some mtn roads.
You want to meet up Thurs when I drive back through that city of fail?

I can't meet up Thursday
How did I miss this thread. I blame all of you for not informing me of it's creation.
side note:
I don't see how this qualifies as "eclectic".
side note:
I also like Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gary Jules, The Vines, Silversun Pickups, Cobra Starship, Chiodos, System of a Down, The Killers, Blur, Our Lady Peace, The Fray, etc. I have an eclectic taste in music.

Except Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, and the Jonas Brothers. They're little preteen-attracting cults from hell.

Hey Hsummer, do you paint calipers? I need someone who knows what they're doing, with the open calipers and all, but I need someone closeby. Just wondering.
BTW. I need help guys. I wanna wax the car. Any recommendations on which wax to use on a black car? I heard Meguiar's was really good, but didn't know if there was a certain type for black cars, or what your recommendations are. Thanks much,
Toby

Depending on the condition of the paint you may want to claybar it first and hit it with a polish. There is a ton of info under Maintenance and Repair in the Cleaning and Detailing sub-forum, ranging from both anything you can buy online from the various dealers to stuff you can pick up in your local auto store. I like Meguiar's Gold Class Wax myself as a topcoat and use it on my black car.

As noted, check the forums. There is a lot of good detailing info on here and black has some special problems.

Towards white people?
Okay, thanks for the info. Carnuba wax...do you know if Meguiar's made from that? I'll check it out.

I got the Meguiar's Gold Class, and it has Carnauba wax in it. Gonna get her washed Friday night and wax Saturday morning. I'm gonna have to find some place in the shade though...
Anyway, FIRST MOD! Well, actually not a mod, really. At all. But I'm going to replace the standard long antenna with a little short stubby one. Any ideas on some good ones? I'll have to admit, the first place I would look is on eBay...
someone give me a suggestion please? Thanks

Oh, haha thanks! I'm a little slow on that. I thought you could only use 350z replacement antennas for it. Thanks for the help! And sorry for the mix-up Spork.
