Default Need help, looking to buy 350z in Spring.

I'm looking forward to buying a 03-05 350z in the Spring. I now drive a 05 GTI VW manual. But is it ''ALOT'' harder to drive a 350z manual?

I want to test drive one soon, but nervous I might **** up. And I've been driving for about 2 years manual. I drive my VW perfectly. Just heard the Z was a lot harder.

Also, do all Z's have tiptronic?

You will have no problem going from a Volkswagen to 350Z. The Z has more toque but you will figure it out quickly.

do not get an auto z, it will be the biggest fail of your life....turds imo compared to the manual especially in the early years where they are less power and not half as fun..if it doesnt have 3 pedals dont buy it

Same. You'll be fine.

Welcome to the forum. Don't worry about it, take one for a test drive. Even if the box is a slightly different ratio, what's the worst that can happen, you stall (you probably won't the second time), not a biggie ha , go for a blast.

Manuals enjoy being driven hard and auto's drive hard.. Take each one for a test drive and see which one you like better. Whichever you choose, you will not be disappointed.

I know some people have an issue when first driving their first 350z because the clutch engaging point is a lot higher than most cars. Once you get used to that you can shift extremely fast and smooth.
