Just got a Z
Hey guys,
My name is Emilio, I just bought a Silver '06 Z 6spd...Jason is a long time friend and told me to join the site...I had a '09 370z for a couple of days but the payments were too high for my liking and I didn't like the way they drove... I'm 20 years old have been in the car scene since very young thanks to my dad...My first car was an AE86 Corolla GTS then I went thru a couple of 240s...I recently sacrificed my 12sec S13 and my daily '09 Mazdaspeed 3 for the Z... Always wanted one but thought I had a kid on the way so wasn't able to purchase a 2 seater...Well now the situation changed so I went traded in the Mazdaspeed and sold my 240 to sales man and the sales man sold me his Garage kept '06 Z with 15k miles and nismo goodies here and there...I'm mostly into drifting been in the "scene" before anyone even knew about it, went to drift even when I was like 13... I'm pretty excited about joining a new scene within the Nissan family and hope to learn from yall and be able to share my knowledge...Hopefully I can make my car look how I want it soon...
Here are some pics of my cars...

Thanks,

Congrats. Those rear "fins" look authentic. If so, there would be drilled holes in your rear bumper so keep in mind if you decide to take it off

I know that's what the previous owner told me...I'm tempted just to put like little tabs in the holes... I don't know what I want to do...I don't really like how it looks right now...

Add the Nismo side skirts to make the kit complete. They would flow better and you would love it. I started with the front lip and the side skirts. Everytime I looked at my car, I thought there was something missing. As soon as I added the rears, I said "aha" that was it

New Z
watup everybody. My names Jordan and I recently bought an 06 350z 6spd PPW. I bought it while i was on leave from Afghhanistan. since my return to afghanistan i have purchased some mods for it just a few goodies to dress her up, and i am strongly considering super charging it. I have been browsin through the site and ive seen alot of beautiful cars. I cant wait to get started on the work she is pleading for but it will have to wait until i return home from afghanistan in Dec. I look forward to hear all of the things that everyone has to share about there Z's!

You can temporarily use these to cap off the holes in your car if there are holes under those "FINS".......they are sold at any autozone stores in multiple sizes......use a rubber washer or some clear silicone under them for water protection, but if you get a good size that actually securely fastens with the ribs then im sure it will keep water out, but i doubt much would get in there from that point, if at all...........
if you ever get any body work done, you can either have a body shop later fill in the holes and repaint bumper, or local respray...
OR
you can have them spray a few of these caps/tabs whenever they are shooting your paint (say if you buy side skirts) and then pop the painted ones in and you will have these as plugs in those holes painted to match...shouldnt be so obvious and im sure 10x cheaper than filling the holes then repaint bumper..
