My first '03 350z
i paid 3500 for the 240sx, rims i paid 800, and new exhaust was 500.. it also had a gas leak too i told him up front that it had a gas leak but he wanted to trade anyway.. its cause he said he had a s14 before and wanted one bad again.. he showed me his whole album of photographs of it.. i almost said no but with that kind of offer how can you!? lmao
my tires are almost bald and i have no money for new tires so im getting these rims for basically 350..

they are staggered rear are 275 50 r 18 and front are 235 50 r 18.. what do you guys think? and threading is good all around still alot of life left

lol really? the staggered tires i want off of tirerack and discounttire are 600+ for all four! hahaha the used tires on those rims have like 80 % thread left and i dont drive hard so it should last me... and plus ill have spares now incase of flats *knock on wood
but what do you think of the tire size on them? i like the flat black look

The Z is no more expensive to maintain then any other car Nissan makes. But you DON"T want to go cheap on tires!! Even if you don't drive like an idiot, they can mean the difference between life and death in the right situation. Remember...brake's aren't worth crap, no matter how expensive they are, if you have cheap set of tires on the car.
If you do cheap out don't drive in the rain, snow, or temps below 40 degrees.

well jsut found out the tires all around are summer tires.. this car sucks in the snow to begin with even WITH winter or all season tires lmao.. but rears are brand new bridgestones i forgot which ones but theyre 90% thread left.. and front ones are falkens with 60 % left.. i dont drive if it snows in this car lol
You can drive in the snow if you have to, just drive like you are in snow, and not living a 1/4 mile at a time, and you'll be ok. Summer tires do suck though! I love having more power due to the denser winter air, but i hate that i can't get any of it to the road because of summer tires!
