Default Some thoughts on my new Z

So,i have officially became a member of the Z family.I bought my first 03 touring Z yesterday and i am glad to have such a fast car but here are my thoughts about the Z so far.Just want to let you know i had a WRX,RSX type S before i went 6 cylinders.
The ride of the Z is no hard, very stiff suspension, super bumpy and noisy in the cabin at high speed and when car about to stop, this thing bothers me most, after 45' test ride the Z to Santa Monica last night, i just got so tired.
The Z looks perfect outside but the material of the interior somehow looks cheap, easy to be scratched,plastic-ly
The tranny, compared with the RSX type S, the Z's tranny does not shift as smooth as the Acura. The distance between shifts is not short as the s2000 and i feel very heavy when i shift from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. I drove a few other Z and they are all the same. It's actually heavier than my WRX's tranny
But in general,i am happy with the Z,my GF have always been a big fan of Nissan as does my best friend. This thing is fast, plenty of torque, best handling car i ever drive, great support from aftermarket parts
To me, the RSX type S is good all around if speed is not your number one demand, the WRX is a very solid but raw car. The Z if for need for speed but i wish they could improve the comfortableness of the ride.
Oh,yeah,i am from L.A,hello everyone here.

It's a sports car, it's not suppose to be comfortable.

Welcome and congratulations. Every vehicle is a compromise. You must give up something (comfort) to get something else (handling). Enjoy the ride.

Hello. Everyone on this forum already knows the RSX Type S is the best car in the world and is better than the Z in every way. Just run a search for RSX.

+100000!!

Why the F' would you have ever even considered getting rid of your RSX!?!?! EVERYONE who's anyone knows the RSX is FAR superior to the Z in every aspect!! You better keep this on the down low from this point on, people have been verbaly beat on this forum for as little as joking that the Z may be in some way better then the RSX.

I did not say the Acura is faster/better than the Z,i was saying like as a DD, the Acura gives you more comfortableness. When i had an Acura,i prayed for some extra money falling from heaven so i can upgrade to something faster and has more torque
I actually spent 2 months on car hunting, because my budget was tight,i limited myself to used cars only and i was targeting the S2000,350Z and RX8.
No need to discuss about the rotary engine here 'cause it doesn't belong to sport car class. To me,the RX8 is a car with a sporty look. The S2000 is actually very nice. It has stiff suspension but not rough, nice interior with leather all around focusing to the driver, nice gear box,i was about to buy one but that deal was 1k more than my Z so i end up buying a Z and very happy with it.

You couldnt give me an RSX (well you could) but then I would just sell it !
Its all about preference. I have wanted a Z since they came out. It was worth the wait (for me) again, it all about preference :

As far as the tranny 03s have had some issues.so if it really does not feel right get it checked out.You really should not compare a Z to a RSX or a WRX,those cars are in a different class in my opinion.Being able to feel every bump in the road is part of driving a real sports car.

It really says alot about the owner, when they come in here, having just bought the car, and complain because it doesn't ride like a Cadilac!!
