Default My New Redline 350Z!

Hi all I have been interested in buying a 350z for years and I finally found an enthusiast model at a good price so I decided to jump on it. Its a 2004 6-speed, 50,000 miles, redline Z. Just drove her home from the dealership with a big grin on my face!

I snapped these pics with my iphone for now next to my other car (a 2002 Lancer)

I am pretty excited about the purchase and can't wait to start modding!

Will all of the excitement I do have a few questions before I start making some decisions. While I do enjoy the look of the Z stock I was looking into buying a body/lip kit. Has anyone bought the nismo lip kit from ebay?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AIT-F...item5ad7c9a8c4
That looks like a good deal, although it will need to be primed and painted, but wanted to know if anyone had any experience with that kit? I was also searching on the forums extensively and it looks like I will be buying the Tein s-techs to lower it a little. These seem to be the best functional and economical choice for me.

I am also looking into buying nismo LMGT4 rims to finish it all off. I am really excited and have a good plan of what I want with mods and such, but any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Nice choice! CongratZ!!
Re. the ebay body kit, I encourage you to hold off buying anything until you have thoroughly researched it. I've read stories who bought low-priced kits and they were pieces of junk i.e poor fitment, quality, etc. I know the urge to jump in a start buying "upgrades" but do your homework first.

Welcome and congratulations on your Z. You might want to consider joining the Gateway Z Club. They have monthly meetings and lots of activities. It's a good group of people.

Awesome, thanks for all the comments and thanks for the links to the STL clubs, I will probably be joining!

Also, could someone give me a link to a popular store you Z owners buy your stuff from? Like rims, bodykits, and such. I have found a few already but just wanted to know if some are betters than others

nice find! welcome aboard.

for kits in general, doesn't matter what car it's going on, i would stay clear from ebay. check the classifieds on here and look into some site vendors. springs work for a great first mod. GL with the new purchase
