New owner, checking in.
Came from the BMW scene the last few years, E30's to be specific.
Here was the first. Ground controls/big sways, engine swap from a '98 M3 OBD-I/equal length headers/chip/custom Work Emotion CR Kais/BBK, etc etc, list goes on. Headgasket popped so I parted it.

While I was parting the previous one, I picked up a clean slicktop (no sunroof) 318is for a nice clean daily driver. Had a few mods to it, nothing big, coilovers/chip/etc. And I put some SSR Type C on the car.

After getting to drive a few newer cars weekend before last weekend (2004 M3, 2009 M3) I decided I was finally done with driving working on old iron.
So I found this at a dealership down in OKC. 2006 Touring, 1 owner, Pikes Peak white with the grey interior and bose, 6 spd and only 22k miles. Only have one crappy pic at the moment, the next morning after bringing it home I woke to 60mph winds and the weather was saying possibility of hail.
So I had to throw the engine hoist and stuff out of the way to get it in the garage.
Sorry for the long post. But there's some background info. I plan to keep this car stock, it's pretty much what I want out of a daily driver. Nice, clean, quick and doesn't beat me up over our pothole'd roads.

Welcome! Nice new ride - you will love it
Now I am typically not a bimmer fan...not a hater but not a supporter...but I must say that first bimmer pic you posted is so slick and so clean...good taste i must say - also shows that if you do mod the Z (and it is hard to resist) you will have good taste in its mods as well

Thanks gentlemen.
viva, yeah, it's on the "WE OWE" portion from the dealer. Just didn't have time to get it done when I picked it up last week. So I'll be going back down there in a few weeks to have the windows tinted.
I'm tempted to do an exhaust just for the sound, but at this point, I probably need to buy a "rock" for the ol lady before I start yet another vehicle build!
