New (to me) 350Z
So after doing more research than I did on half the stuff I studied in school, I finally settled on a Redline Red 2006 base trim six speed. I've gone through almost a full tank of gas driving it since Saturday, and I completely love it. Traded in a 2008 Mazdaspeed3 for it. The Speed3 was faster, but I've missed RWD ever since getting rid of my BMW. Don't really have any major plans for it right now, just gonna wait till the engine goes *pop* and then TT it.

Sorry for the failboat picture, took it with my iPhone. Once I get it all cleaned up then I'll get some better pictures taken.

38k when I picked her up.
I plan on it, lol. Already taking bets to see how long till "Probable Cause Red" gets me a ticket.

I've had my redline red since November and when I first bought her, everyone told me cop magnet this and cop magnet that. I haven't been bothered yet by the cops (knock on wood), just keep within the speed limit (altho its hard to) and don't go crazy with illegal mods. Bottom line is drive smart and the cops will leave you alone.
Enjoy your Z, its a great car and every drive is extremely satisfying.

Intake+3 inch turbo back is good for about 40-50 at the wheels for a Speed3. Buddy of mine running an intake/3inch turboback/18 pounds should be over 300 at the wheels, and we are giving him a front mount here shortly. Lightish car, fwd so little drive train loss. Faster than an S2k stock for stock around Laguna Seca...if you can drive it. I ran a stock Z with just an intake on my side, held him off handily up to about 120-125 when brains took back over. Seemed like a cool cat though, didn't mind being beaten by an obnoxiously loud black hatch.
But I didn't buy this car to be fast for a 60-120 punch, the the Rev Up is so damned smooth and just pulls clean through to red line like a car should. The car is sooooo much more fun to drive than the Speed3. RWD>AWD>FWD, and the sound it makes, even stock, is beautiful to me. Ever since I got rid of my Bimmer, I've missed RWD, and I don't care if the Speed had 500 at the wheels, I'd still take the Z anyday. Besides, I can spend just as much money on this car as I did on the speed, going fast is just the art of turning cash into noise.
A week into owning a Z, and I ain't looking back!
