Hey all!
Just wanted to introduce myself with my first post on the forum over here. I purchased a used 2007 350Z Roadster in the Touring Trim and have been enjoying it very much! Coming from a 2008 Honda Civic Si, I have very much come to appreciate the torque and relative stiffness of the vehicle (although not as stiff as the coupe). Being a die-hard "manual-only" kind of person, I've been softened up by the good performance from the 5 speed automatic that comes with the vehicle. [the 370's automatic tranny is just REALLY nice though]
Coming from that Honda background, I've gained quite a bit of experience with engines, transmissions, suspension settings etc - all to squeeze out slightly better performance with what I have to work with. I am excited to continue my 'smart' modifications with this 350Z and I'm looking forward to getting the most out of this vehicle.
I was lucky enough to get this car virtually fully equipped for around $24k with only 2100 miles on it! The previous owner had some ridiculous lambo door hinges installed on it, so that's definitely coming off in the next few days when I have time to bring her in to a shop. Thankfully, the previous owner also had a custom cabinet/cover fabricated into the back panel behind the driver's seat (covered with black alcantara); All I had to do was buy an amp and 10" subwoofer and drop them into the pre-constructed/wired location!
Here are some pictures of the car:

Welcome to the site. Seems like a great price. Very nice roadster.
Yeah, lose the doors. What is wacky is it isn't all riced out...Looks like a nice roadster....and he added the doors? Really odd first mod if you ask me.
Congrats on the purchase.

Thanks haha!
Seriously, wish the doors weren't already modded, the price on the car was fantastic but I really wish I didn't have to spend extra cash to get the doors back to normal! The doors actually open normally then can be raised up; while I would've probably kept them this way to save some cash at first, the hinge kind of throws off the alignment of the latch and causes the door to get a bit messed up every time it is closed when not aligned.

Any tips on how I can get it repaired? Perhaps a DIY? I've never had to fix any of my own curb rashes because I can park

Haven't taken a close look at it but should the chrome billet grille just pop off?
Edit: Meaning...the stock grill is underneath? Or would I need to buy one?

Haha agreed, am already working on getting the crazy hinges off - good thing I have the stock hinges!
I don't know what I should do about the front grille though, I don't have the original one and if I take it off - it'd just be an empty void lol.
Btw, I see you are from Boston? I go to Northeastern!

Thanks!
Haha the grill is OK, I think I'll just leave it for now if it turns out that I have to go out of my way to get the stock one... I do plan on getting a V2 bumper anyways
