Default new 03 touring mt

Bittersweet saying goodbye to my 1995 maxima for the touring I got today. Im getting used really turning my head to see out of the back and sides, but out the front im loving it.

anyway, i had one quick question im hoping you guys can help me out on. I want to connect my ipod to the stock bose system. I am simply wondering if the USA-Spec® PA15-NIS will work in my 2003.

I asked the seller on ebay, he wasn't sure. I'd like to have this installed as soon as possible because im not even really sure where my CDs are. Anyway thanks. learned a lot in the last few days.

congrats on the Z and welcome to the forum. I'm sure the PA15-NIS will work on your bose system, but don't quote me on that. Be safe and have FUN!

I played around with the car a bit today. Had two questions:

is there a cigarette lighter/12V DC adaptor? I couldnt find it in the car or manual but maybe im just not looking hard enough.

Are there courtesy lights in the door? there's a red plastic cover which seems like its masking a light, but it doesnt actually light up, on either door. The manual doesnt mention this as a replacable part. What is the point of that?

I wouldn't even break my neck to look out the tiny rear windows. Adjust your side mirrors correctly and you're golden.

Welcome to the site.

in relation to the courtesy light, this is what Im referring to as to its purpose or how you change the bulb inside, because I dont see it light up or anything:

Welcome, you'll forget about the old maxima in no time. There is nothing the Maxima has that the Z doesn't. (besides rear seats!)

Just updating this for future search purposes. I can confirm that the USA-Spec® PA15-NIS WILL work with the 2003 350z with the stock bose system w/o non nav.

It's just a reflector, but I did install some LEDs in mine (an '08 coupe) when I had the door panels off to upgrade the speakers. I put an LED strip under each side of the dash to illuminate the footwells, too. Plenty of lighting threads in the Interior/Exterior DIY forum. Congrats on the new Z.
