Default Kinda late... 2003 Silverstone Coupe

I actually bought this car in January and have been lurking in the forums for quite some time now and the Z is actually my 5th car.

I used to own a 2000 honda accord 5mt, then a 2007 civic si, then a 2008 mazdaspeed3, a 2010 is250, and finally a 2003 350z that I bought from my uncle since he was looking into getting a new car.

I actually would never imagine buying a Z myself, but he gave it to me at a price i couldn't resist and it came with the following mods.

Nismo Intake
Technosquare ECU Reflash
Borla Exhaust
Brembo Brakes off of a track model with stainless steel lines.

On top of that it's a silverstone grand touring model with burnt orange seats with a completely ding free body so I couldn't resist.

Shortly after getting the car, someone hit and ran my car while it was parked and I had to get it fixed... Two weeks after getting it back from the shop i stopped at a intersection for a pedestrian and someone rearended me.. I'm just barely getting it back today and thought now would be a good time to post lol.

I've own quite a bit of cars and had my own share of modifying it and although it feels like the Z is slightly slower than my old mazdaspeed3 it kicks *** to have a rougher feel and rwd ;]. I actually enjoy the rawness of it much more.

My mazdaspeed3 had its own list of modifications, with a HKS exhaust, cobb springs, testpipe, cold air intake, and bbs evo ix wheels, turbo inlet, and shortshifter, I couldn't grip at all in first and second with falken azenis rt-615s.

Lemoned the civic si because of the third gear grind thanks to the help of some lemon law attorneys, although the engine was great.

Anyways I look forward to being in the 350z community for a little bit.

Welcome to the forum, are you leaving your car stock? Many of our members use their insurance money for upgrades, what so you plan on doing to yours?

At least to my knowledge, Grand Tourings already came with Brembo's, so if you have brembos from a track model, perhaps its just a touring with the upgraded brembos making it a GT, but im not 100% so im sure other users can quickly chime in

congrats on the car, sorry to hear about all the accidents, I lemoned my 06 grand cherokee back in 07 it was a PITA but worth it in the end to get rid of it, transmission problem also

Nice of your uncle to give you the opportunity to get into a Z. Pity other muppets seem to want to reshape the panels for you.
