Default Thoughts on something unique

Hey just picked up one of these, been checking this site for a lot of info.. Wanted one since they first came out and I drove a 240sx..

..been saving for a while.. got a little cash to do some mods too... just getting used to what it is for now.. its a dope ride as is so figure I will just do some small visual mods until I feel like it needs a little more hp. I am already interested in mods to boost the mid range performance though.. .looking into what ECU tunes might be able to do combined with making it breathe better.. Any thoughts would be appreciated..

Been playing with some different rim ideas and stumbled across this and thought I would throw it out to the masses and see what people thought.. Check my album to see what it looks like now (photoshop magic below)

Aside from changing the oil in the gearbox and motor its stock from the Nissan dealership.. (well 8 years and 30k miles ago.. not looking too bad for its age tho )

Looking at something much more moddern, 370 rims style- but just thought I'd see what people thought of the old school.. anyone seen a more modern take on a rim like this?

If you like that look look into the Boss 338. one of hte members on here has them on his SS Z and they look good. IF you like HUGE lips..

Welcome to the boards and make sure to check the marketplace for rim ideas/deals on good rims!

Welcome to the forum. I think there are better wheels out there. Four example work miesters:

They have that old school look with a nice lip.

Actually thats closer to what I was thinking, and well, the key to huge lips is getting 'em done right-

Actually, on the topic of aesthetics, I have yet to see a post about the two things that really bother me with this car...(details I noticed after finally owning one...kinna odd about things like this.)

the mirrors and the door handles.. Door handles on this car stick out like a sore thumb if the car is not silver.. why is this the most prominent feature of the car?
its more noticeable than the Z logo!! and the square mirrors.. anybody swap them out for something more subtle?

No way to those wheels. Nooo.

I've never heard anyone complain about the mirrors. I don't see anything wrong with them. I don't see anything wrong with the handles either. Some people get them painted, but I believe they go well with the car.

As for ECU's, there isn't really any chips or ECU's you can buy that will give you better performance. You can get some bolt on's and then a tune but don't expect to gain much power at all.

I hate those more than the OPs wheels, which I dislike
