Smile New 04 Base

Hi Everyone!

Got my 04 350z Silverstone Base about 2 months ago. Got it off a manager at work who took really good care of it, high miles at 100k+ but it was mostly freeway driving and he gave me a killer deal that I couldn’t pass up.

My only gripe is that it’s a base model. Cruise Control I can live without but no LSD, HID’s, or Brembo’s leaves me wanting. The stock stereo sucks but that isn’t hard to replace. So far all that's changed are new floor mats and the S2K shorty antennae. I hate the stock wheels, but I’m hoping to get some Black Enkei RPF1’s in a few weeks. Thinking of 18x9.5 +15 all around with a 45 Series tire, but I don’t plan to drop so I hope it doesn’t look funny. I'll get springs if it does. Not a fan of the Billet Grill either so that will come off eventually.

Other than that I plan on driving it until we finish paying off the family car and I can get a 370z! Hope to learn a lot here. Thanks!

Welcome and congratulations. Car looks to be well taken care of. Good choice on the RPF1’s (if you do decide to go with them).

Welcome and congrats.

You may want to get rid of the wheels, many of them were chromed by the dealers (not the factory) and are known to crack. Just something to be aware of and watch for..

Super clean Z! congrats...be sure to keep an eye out over in the marketplace for wheels/brakes/lsd. Black RPF1's will look sweet. Check out the Wheels/Tires section on here for lots of pics and to answer your offset questions. I think a 45 series tire might look strange, but could be wrong. Welcome!

Contrats! I also have an 04 (04.5 to be exact) silverstone base model. Only Thing I wish it has are HID's. I never use cruise control, and I've heard the stock VLSD isn't that fantastic. Just enjoy it! That's what I do. lol

Thanks everyone!

I'm definitely considering a slight drop now, I have been searching the Wheels/Tires threads for a while to make sure I get it right. Thanks for the suggestions!

Wow! Thanks for the heads up Waizzz. Plus I can definitely use this as an excuse to get the new wheels asap lol.
