Love the redline color! im sure the cops will also.

I plan on ordering a JWT popcharger next week, and a set of headers shortly after. Anyone have experience with Megan Racing headers?

Just saying hello to the community!

Great color
I'm a ex-Florida guy.What area do you live?
Are you changing your exhaust system or,just adding the headers??

thanks! i live in pensacola, its in the northwest panhandle.
i plan on buying exhaust soon. wish i could afford Borla.
my friend wants to sell me his Nismo exhaust off his g35 for $400. I was also looking at Megan Racing exhaust, it sound great but im not too sure about the quality.

what do u think the best choice would be?

Welcome! I have a redline as well and cops just adore me.
Also idk if you know what you're getting yourself into with buying headers.. First off, I've only heard bad things about Megan Racing, but if you did get those, you'd be paying about $250 for headers, then around $500 for install, while in the meantime you could just save up and buy an exhaust. Headers don't do much.. If I could do it over, I would have not gotten headers and save the $800 for something more important.

I appreciate the heads up. thats exactly why i joined the forum.
So im assuming i would be better off with Nismo exhaust.
Why do u say that about headers? Just not enough power for what u pay?

They have few good parts and a lot of crap. Headers and test pipes i would not buy from them, i had no problems with their Y pipe but others had them rip apart. The exhaust , well i know the one is just a Nismo knock off , for a couple hundred it doesn;t hurt to try.

I also have over 3 years of heavy beating on my Megan front control arms. Nothing wrong with them, eventually i will swap them to SPL.

Headers don't do much for the Z. High flow cats, dual exhaust, intake, plenum spacer, tune and you're set till you want to go FI if ever.

Welcome though!
