New Z owner in Raleigh, NC
I picked up my 08' Z one month ago today. So far, it's been everything I've hoped for. It's a big jump in power as my last car was an 85' MR2 with a 20V engine swap.
No big plans for the car right now. I'm going to try to learn how to drive it well in stock form before I add any mods. That be said, I think the first thing I'll look at is upgrading the brakes for possible track days. I have auto-x'ed in the past but I think i would like to try my hand at HPDE.
welcome and congrats. im an hour away from you in Burlington.
does that one have like 33k miles? i was eyeing one for a while in case i were to sell my Z . it was san marino blue and it finally disappeared from auto trader so i assumed it sold. wonder if it is this one

I live in Wake Forest. I just purchased my first Z back in June from Carmax. It is a 2008 Grand Touring now with about 38k miles. I just went to get the oil changes today, and was told by Crossroads Nissan in WF that my front pads needed replacing. Was also told that I could not just put pads on. They told me that every time the pads wore down that the rotors had to be replaced as well..$1700! That does not sound right to me. Your thoughts?
