Default DSM to Nissan...

hey everyone my names justin and im currently stationed at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks AK.... an im picking up a 2003 350z wednesday. im new to these cars.... so this should be interesting. not sure what my plans are for it... i want to learn all i can about these cars before i start modding it...

my other 2 toys are a 2010 lancer GTS but the wife wont let me touch it lol and a 98 katana 600

"track model" sorry if i sound dumb whats the difference in the other models.... and def a nice xmas gift... the wife is letting me get it so im super excited lol

nvm... googled it... and i think i will be happy with this model...

Yeah, I'm assuming it's a track since it appears to have Brembo brakes on it. That's the top of the line for '03, brotha!

might want to get a front fender well liner, it seems to be missing. Would hate for you to drive in the rain and get the ballast wet in your headlights.

Trust me im new to both... Ive only been in alaska for about 10 days now but im here for the next 3 years.

Welcome. I did the same thing I let go of my DSM about 2 years ago ( good choice), I still miss it from time to time. What kinda DSM did you have btw?

Thanks all... And its officially mine now just picked it up about an hour ago.. And yea i def miss my DSMs ive had a 91, 94, 95 talon the 95 was a tsi awd. And i had a 97 gst that i wish i never got rid of. And they were all 5 speed as well. My 97 had the most work done t28 turbo 3inch turbo back exhaust cheap after market bov intake running about 18 on boost plus act 2100 lb 6 puck sprung clutch

^^ I had a 97 GST and it was a blast. I forgot all about it after owning my first Z though.

Good luck man, hope you have a winter beater too. I was stuck at Fort Drum for quite a while when I owned my Z, it got a lot of garage time, it isn't the best snow car (nor should it be used for that). Have fun in Alaska. My buddy has been stationed up there forever, he loves it.

The Z is gona be my daily until im able to ship my lancer up here then i will mainly drive that.... But my first plan for the car is to go over maintenance this weekend. I want to make sure the car is up to my standards
