Default New 350Z owner from Miami

Hey guys,

1st post on here so I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rob, I'm 23 from Miami, FL. Current student at the U! GO CANES!! Just purchased a 350Z last Friday, hope to meet some of y'all throughout my ownership of this Z. I'm going to be on this forum researching this car as much as my free time will allow.

Well the car is a black 03 6MT, possible track edition? leather, Brembos, etc. It needs some love and minor fixes here and there (driver window is acting up, no washer fluid reservoir, and AC broken) but overall it's probably a 7.5/10 and I'm happy with it so far. Here's a preview pic, I'll try to get some more on here later on.

The 03 350Z with my Matte black Mustang Cobra (new engine under construction) in the background.

Welcome to the forum. Stealth looking 350. The window motor is an easy fix, usually just taking off the door card and components behind will give you access to clean the bushes or realign the window and should be fine and it doesn't take long to do (check in the guides section for how to do this). Certainly cheaper than a new window motor, unless necessary.

Why is there no window fluid reservoir? That's a bit odd.

I would say welcome to the dark side, but looks like you are already there.

Clearly the bumper has been changed. Perhaps the reservoir was removed and just never replaced? Maybe they broke it while ripping the bumper off. Maybe it was in an accident on that side?

It is weird, those are the only things I can think of.

Yeah, I've been searching for stuff on Google and the top hit was always this forum lo, so figured I might as well join. But yeah, I saw it and I'll most likely give it a shot this weekend if the weather permits.

Thanks man. I wanted to get a white one cause from my experience with the black Mustang the black always seems to get dirty in no time. But whatever, when it's clean it really does look nice.

That's excellent. I'll definitely hit this up, especially since I want to/need to compare engines to see what changes were made to this one.

Thanks, didn't even know lol. But now that I know, I'm already looking at 06+ headlights, smh. I told myself I'd stop wasting so much money on cars...

Yeah, it really is weird. For some reason the hood seemed to of been painted as well so there probably was a hit. Although all other signs would suggest if there was it was probable minor.

Anyone know of some decent looking semi cheap rims? I've been going thru this forum looking at the wheels and wow they're all $1200+. They don't even drop that much in the market section buying used. Had i known that I would've bought one with rims on it already lol.

What type of wheels are you interested in? I would recommend to look into sportline TE.6 wheels! Reasonable priced and it's similar in strength to that of a fully forged wheel, without the cost. The process used to make the Sportline TE.6 wheels is the same process BBS wheels and Forgestar uses.

Rota wheels are nice. Just don't put Volk stickers on them and ignore the wheel snobs on this site.

Guys, My exhaust tips have "Nismo" inscribed on them. Is this normal for Zs?

It's probably a Nismo S-Tune exhaust
