My Z... zcarlet
I've been a member here since the beginning, before the Z was even being shipped physically to dealers/owners. Reason I signed up cause I told myself one day I will have a Z. Well over 10 years later, I finally have my Z a 2004 track model with 190k beautiful miles. Technically bought it from a one owner. She is stock for "now".

Thanks fellas. Yea bought it from a guy who drive it mostly on the highway. Had service records on everything. Just changed all the belts to gates. Has z1 test pipes, z1 spacer, z1 CAI(going back to stock), JWt clutch and FW. Has new tires as well, off brand but I'm changing the wheels and tires anyways.Interior is clean and has a pioneer touchscreen/navigation
Next week whole suspension is getting changed and hopefully brakes, installing Fujitsubo catback exhaust.
ONly hiccup I came by was the ECM fuse would short at WOT,1st gear and redline. tightened up the rear o2 sensors and hasn't happened since...but really haven't gunned it either.

Now that's dedication.
I took delivery of the first '03 Daytona Blue Z at my local dealer, but didn't join the forum until after purchasing my current '07 DBZ. Little backwards. Have fun man, you deserve it!

Yea the Z I have some big plans for and the next two months will be interesting. I decided to start building her from ground(wheels/drivetrain/suspension) up before I touch the engine.
I'll paste a build link here once I get started.

Great find!
She sure looks great with those miles.
Its good to hear from "charter" owners(got their's when they first came out...).
I'm in that club.Bought my 03 Touring when they first went on sale in 02.
Now have a pretty low 84k on the clock. When a potential buyer went shopping at
a Nissan dealer for a Z in 02,it was a nightmare due to the lack of knowledge
about the 350.The average sales person knew very little. You may find one in
a showroom.I went to 5 dealerships before I found a person that knew the details
of the new Z.In fact, worked directly with the sales manager as he was a old Z guy.
Had to order mine since the model&color combo was just not available(Silverstone&
burnt orange inside).Took about two and a half months.During that time the sales manager gave me weekly updates on the progress of the "build" in Japan.Got a call
one day ,she was being loaded on a ship headed to the U.S.Even gave the name of the ship and ETA. I've owned my Z for 10years,I did'nt start mods until about 4 years ago.
As good as the design is,you come out one day and something looks a bit dated.
It was the wheels. That is usually the start with a lot of owners. The dollars and the fun
start to flow after that lol.Pretty much done everything I set out to do with my
Z.Could buy a new platform Z if the changes were significant.Don't think they will
be.
A GTR sure looks good.Especially the Track!

congrats.. You said it right too...
swap out your shocks and all your surely dead bushings to urethane.
U know the deal, nissan bushings are toast after 4-5 years all over this car.
fairly cheap/Simple to swap, huge gigantic increase in satisfaction. Keeps tires from destroying themselves too. Good luck w build..
