Things I wish new Z owners would post up

While it's understandable that new owners want to show off their new Z, the stuff about how they want to mod their cars and what they want to buy is missing the mark. Stock--without any mods--a decent running Z has more performance and capability than 90% of the cars on the road today.
The problem comes down to one part: the mass of protoplasm that sits behind the wheel. The Z was built for a performance driver, one who is extremely sensitive to every input (braking, acceleration or cornering) and can utilize the full range of what it offers. As used car prices come down, what do we see? Cars being slid into poles or curbs, severe crashes in the wet AND dry, new owners putting on parts that downgrade performance or stop these cars from functioning.
For those new owners who want to be in this section, I wish you'd consider posting up something about how the Z has inspired you to be a better driver. There's a myriad of ways:
-Attend a performance driving school.
-Go to a SCCA/NASA/other motorsports organization track day.
-Read a book on driving (there are plenty of good ones out there).
-Try a local autocross or solo event.
-Conversely, contact your local drift organization and find out if they offer drift schools or practice days (hopefully at tracks with LOTS of runoff room).
-Join your local Z car club and attend their performance or track days.
-Watch videos or other driving lessons from a good source like FastisSafe.com.
In short, it'd be cool if someone posted up how they plan to become a good enough driver to live up to their new Z.

Besides my Jeep (lol) the Z is my first RWD vehicle. Learning how it responds around corners and learning to control a powerslide has been fun. I autocross and have put down some impressive times that I just wasn't able to get with my previous vehicles.

I like the tone of your post. At least you're willing to learn about how a RWD vehicle handles and improve your driving. Autocrossing is a good low-cost and low-risk opportunity that almost everyone can find in their part of the country. I don't know what your previous vehicles have been (except for the Jeep), but I bet the Z is quite a step up.
