Default New here

So i got a 2004 350Z, base i believe, with the 6 speed. Pretty nice car, kinda slow but its good for the price. Handles pretty good as well.
So far in the week i have owned it i replaced the speakers because the rears were gone. I need to order rear struts for the hatch because those are dead as well. Cubby lid needs to be replaced. Thats about it. Oh I did have to rotate the 235s to the rear cause some idiot had the 225s on the rear
Came with a K&N SRI with heat shield.

I want to do a fluid change soon. Any recommendations on which manual transmission oil to use and the synthetic oil that has had the best oil analysis results in the DE engine? I used pennzoil platinum on my old car for the engine and fords manual transmission oil was like unicorn jiz as well.

Also before any mods to the car i would like a good OBD2 engine monitoring system that i can view multiple parameters at once such as KR and AFR and what not. Looked for a few minutes and didn't see anything spectacular so any suggestions?

Also, probably going to throw some of the high end 370z wheels and tires on it to widen the footprint a bit.

Really wish this forum had thanks/groan buttons on peoples posts btw

Welcome!

As far as a decent monitoring system.... Go to Amazon or Ebay and find a decent BlueTooth ODBII adapter (usually about $15-$30).

Download the "Torque Pro" app if you have a Android phone or tablet. There is a free version of Torque but it has fewer features and the paid app is worth the price if you ask me.

maintenance for now. Plugs, oil, fluids. Maybe do lightweight but stock size pulleys and new belts.

more mods once my finances are stable. Moved to this car to save in the monthly note more than anything.
