Default My 35th anniversary 350z

Hi, i am 19 years old, and got my dream car. I have been saving up for a Z for a while, and have wanted one for many years. Finally 5 weeks ago i found a add online and went to take a look. Well later that night i was driving home in my 35th anniversary yellow 350z. (Of course its 6mt)

I picked this car up from the dealer with 50k miles, and this car was babied most of its life. The car was sold new in Hawaii, and stayed there for 40k miles. While in Hawaii this car was owned by some old guy who would just take it out on the weekends, so i knew the car was rust free, and it was well kept. Then for the last 10k miles it was in Wisconsin, where the guy drove it only in the summer he put the last 10k miles on the car in about 2 years. So i figured the car was in good shape. I brought it to a Nissan dealer, and he said the car was very clean, and the only issue was the tires were feather a little bit. I don't really care about that to much.

So the car was completely stock and i plan on doing some mods once i get some more money .

My Plans for the car, what i have done:
So i have done the rear wiper delete because well i think it was ugly . I have also plasti dipped the wheels, but i do plan on getting them painted.

Also the guy in Wisconsin replaced the Head Unit with a Sony xav-62bt. It does the job, so im happy with it. But the only issue i have is the sub isn't working. I think he had a aftermarket sub in the trunk, so i am hoping its a easy fix.

My next upgrade that im planning on doing is borla exhaust and probably some high-flow cats. Where i live i have to do emissions, and i don't feel like having to changed the cats for that.

I am also planning on getting a CAI, i haven't really decided on what kinda i want to get yet.

Then after getting some of those performance mods done i plan on touching up the paint, and maybe a carbon fiber hood. But that's way into the future .

Well thanks for reading, and im glad to be on the forums.

Awesome man, you're setup is exactly how my purchase went about in regards to your modding ideas. The previous owner had it twin turbo'd with the Greddy Kit, and when I first had it I had to spend some money on fixing the fuel Floaters in the tank since he put in a after market system from APS but it was all jacked and the engine was filled with carbon I had to seafoam the engine to get that all fixed. Which I may advice for ya unless they kept up with servicing it too have a after market stereo that's a alpine, thou it sucks since he had a after market sub system in the truck, looks to be Rockford judging by the wire going to the battery. Also the guy before me did a nice trick where he ran the Ipod or Iphone jack from the stereo under the center console to the lil change holder that's next to the E-brake. He cut a hole and held it in place sticking out from under it with some kind of Epoxy I guess. But anyway mine also came with a full header, Hi flow cats and Borla cat back system. The sound is intoxicating to say the less you'll really enjoy it. You may wanna go with a Jimmy wolf pop charger, unless you wanna go with a Full cold air intake, this also came with mine and really is quality stuff.

Nice pickup , remove the plastic up and it will look a lot better. You have a lot of good planned mods, please toss the CF hood out the window , there is no need for it.

congrats

but yeah no CF hood.. there is no point. stock hood is pretty light already, an aftermarket cf hood would most likely add weight to the car.
