Default New Owner 06 350Z Touring Roadster

Picked up this baby up yesterday 2006 NISSAN 350Z TOURING ROADSTER and drove it home 200 miles with no issues. it has a 186k miles so far i know it needs front and rear brakes and rotors and it has an exhaust leak.....anything i need to check on or i might need to change soon?

For now its my daily but might be doing lil mods later down the road.

That looks EXTREMELY clean for that mileage!!! I too have an 06 Roadster in Silverstone, but enthusiast model....

+1 to do ALL your maintenance ASAFP!

also, keep a close eye on your oil consumption as the Rev-Up's have been known to burn rather quickly. Great pickup tho!!!!

in for how much $$$

Welcome and congratulations. It has a lot of miles, but if it was maintained properly it should have plenty of life left. Be sure to do your regular maintenance with a vehicle with that high of mileage and you should be fine.

Thanks fellows, it was listed for a lil over 10k but ended up paying 8k out the door. I drove 200 miles to pick it up didn't want a vert but couldn't resist how clean it was.
KBB market value was between $8,715-$10,144 so i think i did pretty good.

Got a question are the front bumpers different from the 2003-2005 model? i would looking at the Ings front lip and notice the 2006 was listed.

Sounds like a good deal to me

the 03-05 do differ from the 06-08 bumpers

Yes, the front bumper changed in '06, and the hood in '07. A lip for the wrong bumper won't even be a close fit.

Yes, the bumpers on the 03-05 are different than the 06-08.

Front lips that are for an 03-05 will not fit an 06-08 bumper and vice versa.

Congrats on purchasing such a tidy ZR. I'd definitely get a major service sorted and I wouldn't worry about the earlier comment about oil consumption on Rev-up engines as these engines weren't fitted to cars with AT only to MT's. Looked after, these motors will pass 200K easily.

My bad, I just glanced at your pics again- Oil consumption is a non-issue with the AT

But with that many miles, still keep an eye on your levels!!!!

Thanks guys i plan to do an oil change this weekend if i get the time or next week for sure along with new front and rear brakes and rotors. Instead of fixing the exhaust leak i might just do an aftermarket exhaust system

Did you buy this car in Texas?
It looks exactly like one I was looking at a month ago.
Nice ride and congratulations.

Holy crap I just re read it, you paid 8k$ out the door from a dealer for this car? thats very hard to believe, but if it is true, you got a pretty awesome deal, thats an incredible price, I havent seen any that clean from a dealer for under 10k$ and I shop like a nut, all over the country.

Considering dealer charges dealer fees, reg, prep, plus the sales tax alone on the the 8k etc... to get it 8k$ out the door its almost to good to be true.
you would have top buy it around 6500 to get it 8k out the door and that seems way way to low for an 06 that clean, again if it is true, you did very very good!!
I suppose the miles brought it down, but good for you man, lol what a find!!

Congratulations on the car!!.

I live in south Florida but drove 200 miles north to pickup the car in Orlando, FL. The car was originally listed for $10,550 and they had a weekend special and the price dropped to $7950. After tax and all the other charges it was $8800 out the door, i called them up and told them if they could make it $8000 out the door i would come pick it up after a couple back and fourth he decided to sell me the car so i rented a car and i was on my way exactly what i saw in the pics is exactly what i saw in person.

I was all over ebay trying to find one for about $6500-$7500 but after seeing the pics on this one i had to take it. Didn't really want a vert but couldn't resist such a good deal.

If i happen to see a hardtop for around this price i might try to sell this one.
