hey guys so i just bought a 2004 350z about a month ago and i love the car its fun to drive, decenty quick, and just a nice comfortable car. something i have noticed is how terrible the dipstick is to read (i know this topic has been covered lots) i have searched everywhere online and have found no solution. im just wondering if i were to find a dipstick out of another car that was the same length without all of the stupid bends on the end if it would work any better? i plan on making a trip to picknpull to see if i can find anything that is similar enough to use. i will post my results if i find anything that works any better. thanks

 

The dipstick isn't really that difficult to use. Just use it a few times and you will see how well it actually works. I doubt you will find another dipstick that will work. The Nissan engineers designed the engine and I am certain they did the best job possible with the dipstick.
