Default New owner of 03 Touring! What should my first mod be?

Hey guys. I just bought a 350Z today with 95K miles for 10K. The color is Daytona Blue. 6 MT Touring. The previous owner babied this car, so its condition is excellent in general, besides some rock chips and minor wear and tear. Nothing I can't handle. I bought this car because my other vehicle is a heavily modded Nissan Titan, and i wanted a second car with better gas mileage (because getting 11 MPG gets old). I think there is a lot of potential in this rig.

That being said, what should my first mod be? I'm leaning towards some spyder headlights, with black housing (the ones that sell for 450). The stock ones are looking rough, and some headlights will make the car look brand new. How is the quality of the Spyders for the Z? On the Titan, the quality is kind of shoddy, but these look great and seem to generate better reviews. Who can shed light on this?

Congrats on your purchase.
I would upgrade to the '06+ headlights/tail lights.

Other than the headlights/tail lights I mentioned, you should probably just do some typical maintenance, if you're looking to do other things, search the forum, you'll find some good information, I've kept my '04 Touring completely stock since I bought it in '04, if I were to do anything, it would be a set of sway bars, shocks and springs.
Post some pics of your car.

+1 maintence is always the best first thing to do when you get a new used car. Sway bars were a great upgrade on my 03 though.
Also I'd skip the aftermarket headlights and get some 06+ headlights

Here's some pics. That's my truck standing next to it. Beautiful, ain't it? Lol

So wait, 06+ headlights will work on an 03?

I know a guy that just joined the Titan community that just sold his Z, so we are going to trade Titan parts for Z parts (stuff I never installed). D2 coilovers and subs is already on the way...and it's the perfect time to upgrade the coilovers since they are probably worn so there's some maintenance right there

Yes they will fit with some harness work. Start saving and reading up on DIY threads in here.

Someone already put the v2 Touring wheels from the '05-'06 models on it, nice looking z, Daytona Blue looks great.
