Talking New Owner! To 350, and beyond!

Hey guys, Im new here, Just traded my 07 corolla that I bought new for an 06 84K mile fairlady named "D'lyla".

I bought her in New Jersey and she has quite a few mods already. Intake manifold+SRI, Lowering springs, and straight pipe exhaust (so far that I see). I will be selling just the downpipe section so I can have cats installed so I can pass PA emissions. There are O2 bungs so the CEL doesnt come on, but there arent any codes.

About myself,

My corolla used to be an award winner, imagine that! five trophies including first, second and third, as well as two second places for audio sound-offs. It was sad to see Tracey go but she severed very well never broke down even after 205k miles. I was apart of the Corolla forums for a while, helped out with a bunch of DIY threads and meets.

I used to work for Toyota and Monroe muffler brake, as well as delivered pizzas and worked as a medical device inspector. Currently I work for Seimens as a mechanical design drafter in Trenton, NJ.

My father and I are apart of Philly/N NJ Scca solo races with his mazdaspeed miata. (I needed something to keep up with him) and a deciding factor of D'lyla was Grassroots Motorsports hinted at the 350z as being the next Scca killer, also it was a guaranteed honda killer too. I wanted something sleek, fast and different. Which is why I didnt get the new Camaro.

I look forward to learning and modifying my new toy! Very glad to be apart of a new family!

Welcome and congrats on the z, you'll love it, I've owned mine for 11 years and it still puts as big a smile on my face as when I bought it new.

Dang, I haven't seen neon green underglow on a car in nearly a decade, I'd take that back any day instead of this stance crap all over the place now.

yes and that last pic was taken in 2007/2008 with the underglow. From a physics standpoint, stance is stupid. call me what you will but when my tires still have 20k miles to go these guys have half tread on their tire. Also from an Scca standpoint, its too much camber to make a tight turn, buy better tires if you dont want to slip!

Maybe these honderz enjoy spending bank on tires all the time. Id rather buy shiny new parts.
