Default New 2006 Touring Owner!

Hey guys! So a week ago from this last Monday I finally got my 2006 350z Touring Edition! After a week, I still love the car; I guess you could say I'm still in the "honeymoon phase." I'm hoping this phase never ends haha.

Anyway, it's all stock apart from me having already plasti dipped the rims. It is a 5-speed automatic, so you guys can talk all the trash you want! I actually didn't mind whether it was manual or automatic, but this was the best deal I could find (I had been looking for a few months) so I took it! Needless to say, I do at least use the paddle shifting a decent amount. :P

I noticed some other people on this subforum sort of telling stories on their Z's and how they found them, etc. Well, here's mine -

Obviously, 350z's aren't the most common car around, so when they came out in 2003 I never really noticed them or thought much of them (let alone know what they were called), mainly because I wasn't driving. Anyway, I got pretty big into PC gaming with friends, and we played this somewhat open-sourced game called "Arma 2." It was a military simulator by default (better known for it's survival mod, "DayZ"), but the developers allowed people to create their own mods for it, modifying nearly an aspect of the game thinkable. Soon enough, somebody made a mod that added in 350z's to the game. Since there was a lot of offroad driving involved and the default cars were generally slow. However, the 350z was SUPER fast offroad so it quickly became a popular car to use. After using it time and time again I started to grow on the car and started thinking, "Wow owning one of those would be awesome." At the time I drove a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo, so from that to a 350z would have been amazing! Eventually I decided that I wanted to look for one and purchase one, so a few months later, here we are! I had always thought of this as my "realistic dream car," where as the GTR is my "not necessarily realistic dream car."

That's about all there is to it though, I know it's probably pretty nerdy that I found my "realistic dream car" off of a game but whatever, couldn't be more happy being the new owner of it!

And of course, how could I not include any picutres!? Keep in mind, this is the same car some pictures were just taken before/after the rims were plasti dipped! -

Nice! Actually for the 2006 auto is the only one I'd buy because of the oil consumption with th 6spd, good find!

Thanks! I actually noticed that they are very uncommon but I feel like they go much better with the black paint.
