Tires came in today and tomorrow I have a much needed alignment! Love the way the new tires look, but they do a have a certain hum on streets. FYI I brought the wheels and tires to town fair tire as I liked them when i put tires on my Volvo and they refused to mount new tires they didn't sell to any rim. Luckily NTB had no issue.
Well they kinda suck but there's enough lawyers advising companies about liabilities so folks don't like working on parts they didn't sell.
Looking good man!

Thanks all, can't wait to get her painted and all in one color. But I do want to enjoy driving her for a little while, makes the drive home from work a lot more interesting. The funny thing is that if the tires are used they don't care and will mount them no problem.
Either way they are losing my business! Also turns out that NTB doesn't exist in the northeast anymore, they were purchased by Mavis, a company I had never heard of.
Yikes, not sure how long ago they started buying but as people drive less, it doesn't seem like such a good idea... Well I'll stick with them until they go under.
Fairly quiet weekend, had my re-inspection on Saturday and I think the only thing that saved me with the steering was adjusting it a bit, it helped the steering wheel return to center and makes the car a bit easier to drive. So now I am 100% legal and happy about it. Spent most of the time cutting, stripping, soldering, and shrink tubing wiring. Then I had to pull apart the wheel wells and under stray to wire the lights in and mount them. The only way to make them removable was to use these tiny connectors which I will probably shrink tube once they go on permanently. If it helps the parking wire on the drivers side is red with a dark blue stripe (I believe) and the passengers side is red with a yellow stripe. They are temporarily zip ties up and out of the way till it all goes back together after paint, someday.
Oh it's getting there! This project is actually exciting because it's actually falling through
I think that posting pictures is helping me stay motivated! Can't wait for the paint to be done, not sure when I will have the time to do that but hopefully soon. Next task is hard wiring my dashcam and backup camera.
Is that the grey that Chrysler is using these days?
I had hoped it would be close to destroyer gray but it is much lighter in person. I might try to tint it a bit to make it a bit darker.

Gonna be my summer daily to keep the miles off the truck and keep me from the boredom of driving an automatic most days. Plus also hoping to do some track stuff with it!
Haha, no paint yet, most likely the next couple months. I have been working on some audio issues and planning for my new system. Ordered a single 12" sub box, and tore the interior apart to pre-run all my cables. I also installed some Focal RCX-165 in the doors. Been having an issue on high speed sweeping turns to left, a subtle vibration that kind of feels like wheel rub, and now I am pretty sure it is the front right wheel bearing (ordered both fronts). My Workshop 12 kit came in today but was disappointing. The fitment kinda sucks, the audio filter is wrong, and they didn't send a USB-C as they were supposed to. Just pulled out the rear speakers that were held in with double sided tape and 1 screw each, and then spent an hour cleaning all the dust in the back of this thing.
Wow, when you said "tearing apart the interior" you weren't kidding lol
Yep, I have a thing for running wires the right way, all it takes are a few extra minutes of removing panels. Plus with removing all these panels I get to clean everywhere, and cleaning the panels are so much easier when they are out of the car.
Finished up my Braniac install (minus sanding and paint) and I'm less irritated as workshop 12 got back to me right away letting me know that the filter can be used the other way and it does make a major difference. Looks like my USB-C will be on the way once they get some in. All my wires are pulled and ready to install my amp. Some point this week I will install and mount the amp so that when my sub woofer enclosure comes in I can just toss it in. Looks like I need to spend some time cleaning up my positive terminal. I also wanted to do something with my strut tower cover so I removed the Z, filled the holes and wrapped it in vvivid carbon wrap. Couple of very minor imperfections but they are hard to see. Last night around 11 I had this thing wrapped without filling any of the holes and was going to put the painted Z emblem back on but it looked really bad, turns out my first wrap job was very poor. Thankfully I did not take a picture of that abomination!
