New 2004.5? Performance trim 350z Owner
Purchased a 2004.5? (I guess Nissan did two different productions that year and after research I believe I have the second product) 350z Performance Trim 6 speed with 152k miles about 3 weeks ago and I am stoked to have actually own a Z! I have big plans but nothing crazy like turbo or anything like that, at least I don’t think. Already has basic mods like cold air intake? (Need to take pictures of under hood for some clarification) I believe stock exhaust but it sounds good from most opinions. Here are some pictures from right before I purchased.

Welcome on your purchase, but there were no significant Nissan production changes for the Z33 in '04. Not sure where you're doing your research, but the only significant change came in 2006 with the introduction of the Rev-up VQ engine. The next and final upgrade was the 07-08 models, which came with the HR-spec engine and multiple interior changes.
Your Pikes Peak white coupe shows aftermarket wheels, intake, and light modules (including the infamous bubble rear taillights). The performance trim was a great factory option and the mods appear tastefully done. Nothing wrong with any of it, and if you like the mods, just rock on!

Thank you sir! I found that Nissan had two different productions that year one at the Oppama Plant and Production at Tochigi Plant that year. No major changes but little things I’ve read like difference Vins, knee pads on driver and passenger side, revised spring rates, seatbelt extenders, power outlet under dash, wideband O2 sensor, and different ecu. I’m not sure how much is true or not but I’ve read that on forums here and on **********?
