Welcome- your Z most likely suffers from a damaged or blown slave cylinder. The only way to know for certain is to get it up onto jack stands and visually check it.

I've had something like this happen to me, and what it ended up being was one of the fingers from the pressure plate broke off and was lodged in the clutch so it would not disengage. The 2006 has the more robust and accessible slave cylinder but usually a blown slave cylinder would empty the reservoir and/or have diminishing to zero pedal feel. If the slave cylinder visual check has travel as dkmura stated and also the pedal returns unimpeded and you are able to cycle through the gears with the car off but not on, then its more than likely something in the clutch.

Good suggestion from AxionZ. Depending on OP's actual mileage, it could be a failure of some part of the clutch assembly. He says "140", which could be a typo or 140K, we have no idea. But you still need to get the car on jack stands, or a lift, to find out. Do a full inspection to determine the actual failure BEFORE you start throwing parts at it.
