Hi all so im 49 and and am just taking my driving lessons , (never too late to start something new) and iv'e bought myself what i consider a nice example of the 350z Coupe in blue
on a 2006 plate , it only has 40k (miles) on the clock . and came with 19" Team Dynamics wheels apart from that its untouched modification wise . which is why i chose it in the end, although i did see some lovely kitted out ones full drift modified for cheaper than what i payed for mine (im still learning to drive and going al out buying a drift car with hydraulic brakes etc was a bit too over eager) they did also have 3 or 4 x the amount of miles on the clock and had obviously been ragged about (as we say) ..although you may get some nice mods buying one like that i just felt it was best to stay away from those with 150,000 miles on the clock and been moddified as they where also a bit tatty looking or very expensive .. so this way i can go on to mod my own as time goes on and as i get used to the car , but i have a car thats hardly been broken in at 40,000 on the clock . ill probably be looking at upgrading the exhaust kit soon as the sound could be a bit better for that deeper growl my 2006 Z , bought just a few weeks a go ,
Congrats on the Z purchase. Looks nice and clean. Being an '06, make sure to keep an eye on your oil level from time to time since the REV UP motors are known to burn oil.
Nice Z you got there would be interesting to know what mods you made to it . ..the tinted windows is a must although ill be adding some of that to my back window in the next few days and a lighter one on sides (due to UK restrictions on the front side windows have to be very light tint but the back is ok to have a dark as you want) . . .thanks for tip ... id heard about the oil thing and how they like burn through it a bit and how its also worth checking for oils leaks or seapage as the pcv valve can clog and create oil leaks or seapage, today i just finished installing a rear view and front dash camera which is viewable through the centre mirror which is pretty nice ,
Nice looking Daytona Blue coupe. I'd also recommend flushing fluids like the brake fluid, which never get changed and end up absorbing a lot of moisture from the air.
