2007 Nismo 350z: Is it worth it?
Well, as its written... I was in the process of getting/ordering a 335i,, then by mistake I went by my local Nissan dealership and saw the Nismo... It was pretty hot, the back kit and the wing are horrible, but in general its a pretty sick/rare thing here.
I currently have a 2003 SB perf with a full Nismo Styled CF kit, including fenders and hood by vis and Carbon Creations. 19" Stern Wheels, Apexi N1 exhaust, injen intake, nismo **** and mats, CF a pillars, trunk bar cover, and cluster hood. Along with Brembo OE sized cd/slotted rotors with Hawk Pads. 68k miles on it.
I also have a 2003 E46 M3 which I will be giving to my gf for daily driving.
Thinking of trading the Z in def. What do you guys think? Is the Nismo worth it? Will it hold its value better? How rare is it?
No need for stupid comments either, just some opinions!
Thanks

Well it depends on what you are looking for. The 07 will get you a new hood, tail lights, HIDs, larger brakes, nicer 18" rims, great more powerful engine w/ better gas millage, and who could forget the 6 cup holders.
Like I said its all on what your looking for. If you like the changed then go for it. I love mine and look forward to driving it every day.......... Well unless its raining, I hate to get it dirty.

By worth it I mean: Is it worth the $38k sticker price I was guaranteed? Is it worth it for a Z fan to spend that kinda money on it? Is the "Nismo package" really worth that much more? Or should I hold for the 335 or something else in that range.

its like this i drove it 80 miles today. and while i didnt rev it over 4500K i was able to get a great sense of handling. it is amazing and im saying that unbiased ive owned a 03 Z 98 C5 vette and a 05 C6 vette this thing is so stiff and stable through the turns. i havent really pushed the HR engine yet
ask your self this are you a nismo fanatic? do you follow super GT racing in japan? does a numbered car matter to you? for me the answer was yes. fans of nismo know what this car is and it is something very special to them. ive been hardcore for nismo as much as anyone in the entire Z community my 03 Z had to nismo V1 kit then the V2 kit and both the nismo 18 and 19 " LMGT4's so this car was a natural progression for me. if your not nismo obsessed its still a unique Z to have if nothing else. but has far as worth it go see it in person and you should answer your own question in about seconds, i did
performance wise i drove a 2003 so the fit and finish of the 07 is much greater the steering is tighter the clutch feels better and the interior is a welcomed change from what i had.
last year i test drove 4 cayman's would i take my car over a cayman after driving both? yes as for the BMW that is a very cult like following aswell so what side of the fence are you on?

The new Nismo is seriously fugly.
You'd take a Z over an M3 or a 335?
I shopped all three when I was buying my Z - the only reason I bought the Z over the 335 and M was because it cost less, performed about as well and was fairly reliable over the BMW's.
My opinion, keep the M3 and laugh at the Nismos as they drive by.

38K for that car!!!Ahh nismo edition is ugly!!!For that type of money I would just get a touring and drop a turbo in it.I bet it will have more hp than that ugly nismo.

For all the bits you get, the car is worth it if you can get it close to the invoice (say 36k), but I'm guessing that most dealers won't negotiate down that much.
