#66
I got a brand new 08 #1365 yesterday for 33k thats including ttl I put 2k down on top of that and now I owe 31k.. I took advantage of the $2500 rebate plus I got a % off dealer invoice because I have a friend that works for nissan. Without his VPP hookup it would have been 35+

I paid more than I should have, had I waited. There was no guarantee that I'd be able to find one later. I learned a lesson or two about waiting. I missed out on the Civic SI, Prelude SHO, and Integra Type S. I refused to pay up, and waited, and missed on all three. I did not want to make that mistake on the Nismo. I am very satisfied, and happy with my Nismo, so having paid a little more then, as opposed to now is no big issue for me.

I got my 07 for $29,800, but the dealership's owner had been driving it himself for a while. It had 9,000 miles on it, but it had never been titled. The deal included tax, title, and I made the dealer put in leather interior at no charge.

39.5 OTD. Tennessee sales tax sucks the big one. Plus got auto start, custom cover and extended warranty plus maintenance package thrown in with the 39.5 deal. Car feels more and more worth it every time she comes outta the garage!!!

However I have some skeptisism about some of the numbers posted. I beleive it is relativly hard to get a car for under invoice new with under 25 or so miles on it (about $35,800 I beleive). Maybe its just the Boston area where in the northshore there are a lot of highly paid professionals who will pay a premium.
But if it makes you feel better look at a new Porsche 911 Turbo. $140K new. Only a few thosand miles on the clock and its about $100,000.
That has gotta sting!

I was just offered 29,000 on a new 2008 Red Nismo. More than likely, I will stick with my blue 2004 touring. The only way I will move up to a new Nismo is if I get an offer I absolutely cannot turn away (26-27k OTD or thereabouts).
I'm in Iraq right now and am stationed in Germany, shipping my car over in the next couple months for when I return. The amount of hassle it will be for someone to purchase the car for me and try to sell my current car (which is already paid off and will be hard to sell for the same reason there are good deals out there) in my situation make keeping my 04 a much easier option. I sure would love to upgrade, though. We'll see! I just wanted to let everyone know that under 30k is very possible. I personally have found in excess of 40 new Red Nismos sitting on dealer lots (over 150 total nationwide). Good luck.

That offer will never happen.
